Dear All :) ,
I hope all of you are just as excited as I am for our upcoming 2012 IHSRA mid-winter meeting and banquet! It is sure to be fun! There will be dancing, an auction, and really great food. The evening will begin with the board meeting from 2 to 4 pm. Next, after everyone arrives at 5 pm we will have our prayer and meal, which is catered by Sugar Creek Bakery. The menu for the night includes: Penne with red sauce, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Salad with dressing, Bread and dessert. Don’t forget that each party is asked to bring 1 two-liter of pop for the evening’s refreshments. Following the meal will be the association meeting where we have a full agenda which includes the students officer’s trip to Denver, national news and changes, current information, and election of adult officers. After the meeting the contestants will go dancing while the parents and other adult members hold the annual scholarship foundation benefit auction. So, don’t forget to bring any items you wish to donate to be auctioned, it all goes to a very important cause. Also, if anyone has any questions specifically about the dance please feel free to call your student officers. The officer’s phone numbers are located on the Officers and Board page on our website. I hope that this is a memorable experience for everyone!
Thank you, God bless!!
Katie George, Student Secretary
